Positive Thinking

Creative writing is fascinating, you learn so much about yourself, it pushes you to release yourself, if you ever get lucky enough it can take your mind to a place where time does not exist, you sit you write, words flow your mind is still and frantic simultaneously it is the best feeling in the world. Nearly as good as falling in love.

Write, write then do some more, practice the craft, read when you can, grab inspiration from everywhere, the internet is a fantastic place to seek advice, learn from others. Courses brilliant for sharing ideas, techniques, you can gain confidence or get the stuffing knocked out of you. Either way you win, as art is all about emotion & its expression, any reaction is better than none.

Please note that plagiarism is illegal. Cut & pasted straight off the net it’s that easy, it’s that illegal. It’s so boring to steal others work & extremely negative for your mental good health, creativity is exciting, expanding the mind, opening you up to new experiences & ideas, nicking it will just trip you up.

Writing will lead you on an adventure, share it, keep it to yourself it really does not matter, the main point to it is your expression, there is no such thing as bad art, it’s a question of taste. We are all different, we respond differently. Art should express emotion, the interpretation of that is up to the individual, we see things differently, individual preference is unique & changeable.

Finally keep positive, never ever show anyone a piece of unfinished work, chose who will be the first critic very carefully, listen to what they have to say, ignore what you consider mere negativity/jealousy but if something strikes a chord, listen very carefully you’re trying to tell yourself something.

More good news, I have just gotten paid for the illustration work that I did on those banner stands last month. Turns out that Lisa was right, and the pink did look a lot better.
